Solodesk 95
A downloadable game for Windows
SoloDesk 95
A complete GM-less tabletop in one offline window. Play any pen-and-paper RPG by yourself — SoloDesk 95 is the table, the dice, the game master, and the notebook, all on one retro desktop. No subscription, no account, no internet. It's a tool, not a rulebook: it won't enforce a system, so bring whatever you like.
🎲 Dice that actually tumble
A wooden 3D dice tray, dice you drop straight onto the table, or instant rolls — d4 through d100. Build multi-die pools (2d6 + 1d4), add modifiers, roll opposed and target-number checks (d20+4 vs 12), success pools, keep-highest/lowest, and even custom-faced dice that show words instead of pips (weather, reaction, direction, or your own).
🔮 A built-in Oracle
Ask the world a question and get an answer. A Mythic-style Fate Chart with a Chaos Factor — or a plain yes/no for systems that don't use one — plus Scene tests, a Twist generator, a Significance scale, and classic solo prompt tables. Every roll lands in your Adventure Log.
📓 A real campaign binder
An Obsidian-style rich-text notebook built into the table: Character / Monster / NPC sheets with stats, vitals, skills, spells, equipment (with real roll buttons) and portraits; Items, Inventory, and Shops; wiki-style [[links]] and embeddable table rolls.
🗺️ Maps & miniatures
Draw graph-paper dungeons, paint hex regions, and pin a world map — or let the generators roll up a dungeon, a labelled town, or a region for you. Then fight it out in BB3DE, a 3D skirmish arena with terrain, miniatures, line-of-sight measuring, and physics dice.
📄 Bring your own books
Import any PDF rulebook or character sheet, read it full-screen, and annotate it — pen, highlight, and movable/lockable text boxes for filling in fields.
…and the rest of the desk
Rollable tables (weighted, dice-range, and cross-reference), card decks, an ambient synthesizer, clocks and trackers, a session timer, and one-click offline backups of every campaign.
The details: Windows · fully offline · your data stays in local campaign folders · ships with a 21-page illustrated manual.
No game master. No internet. No batteries required.
